RETAIL AND POINT OF SALE

Posters
We print posters for a number of manufacturers and retailers. Normally on a 110gsm matt poster paper in a matt ink as this reduces reflective glare from display lighting. We also supply a wide range of hanging bars and strings and low tack adhesive 'hot dots' for easy window fixing. For some customers we pack posters to individual cardboard tubes ready for mailing direct to stores.
We have also printed posters on rigid PVC where our customer serviced wholesale outlets and an extended life was foreseen. These were supplied packed with a variety of fixing methods in a heat sealed sleeve to ensure that no parts were lost and there was no excuse for the salesman not to complete the display!

Display Boards
We print these on one or both sides in a variety of sizes. Normally printed on grey centered display board which is designed for the purpose (despite being grey centered it is white on both sides). This material is available in a variety of thickness to suit different sizes and purposes, and is quite strong enough to stand up by itself when supported by a strut glued to the back. Alternatively the board can fit into a custom holder or have hanging holes and ceiling fixings.

We also print display boards on plastics: polystyrene, expanded PVC and acrylic all provide particular qualities that can meet specific requirements.

Acrylic Displays

The best known trade name for acrylic is Perspex, although there are many other manufacturers. We usually print on clear acrylic as this gives the impression that the design is 'floating', and enhances the overall effect of the display. We have produced spectacular displays by use of different inks and printing associated design elements on both sides. Although acrylic can be sawn or routed it is more often laser cut, which gives a smooth edge and can produce the most intricate shapes and apertures very accurately. Any transparent gloss material needs very careful handling to avoid marking and we have devised a production system which minimises handling to avoid this problem. We have heat bending facilities in house, enabling us to keep control of the entire manufacturing process.
